If you are tired of the usual lockscreen and looking for some change, then Atom is here to save the day. This cool jailbreak tweak is brought to us by the Surenix team with its new developer on board, Daniel Turner. Those who have used iOS 7 and had a jailbreak iPhone must be a little familiar with this Cydia tweak, but now it is also made available on iOS 8 as well on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Atom gets a cool hexagonal arrangement of app icons of your choice on the lockscreen which you can choose from in the preference menu in the stock settings app. The visual and animations are pretty fun to play with. There is the selection cursor which you can drag over the icon in the lockscreen and the app icon jumps up a little to indicate it being chosen. You just need to drag the cursor on the app icon and the lockscreen will make way for the unlock menu for a passcode or a TouchID depending upon the type of locking system you are using.
Coming to the preference panel of the cool iOS tweak, there is the regular toggle to disable or enable the tweak and amazingly no Respring is required to apply any changes that are made in the preference panel. Another cool thing about this Cydia tweak which we hope other tweaks also incorporate is the app icon display in the preference panel as to which app has been selected in which position.
Also there are preset locations being made available like Top Left, Top Right, Middle Left, Middle Right, Bottom Left and Bottom Right, so you know which app icon is going to end up where and there is no way to change the position which is actually a good thing according to us.
So you can get Atom iOS 8 jailbreak tweak from Cydia at $2.99 for the new users and $1.99 for the previous users on iOS 7 who are upgrading on iOS 8.
